The Brief

Silicon Milkroundabout is London’s bustling tech startup jobs fair, bringing together hundreds of exciting new ventures from the world of technology. The wonderful Old Truman Brewery is the setting, and for a second year we were brought in to serve coffee over 4000 attendees and exhibitors during the two day show.

Our Response

Huge numbers and a truly iconic venue made this one of our most exciting events to date. With such a high volume of drinks to serve, we paid particular attention to getting the right kit and team in place to handle the volume.

Our six baristas operated two La Marzocco espresso machines, three grinders mythos one grinders and a state of the art filter coffee setup. We also arranged for all our cups to be printed with the Silicon Milkroundabout logo to maximise exposure of our client’s brand.

In two nine our sessions, we served a hefty 47kgs of espresso and filter coffee. The team was ruthlessly efficient, keeping queues to a minimum without ever compromising on the quality of the coffee or service. We can’t wait for next year’s show!
